Role Description The Salesperson role is a full-time, on-site position based in Wakiso. The Salesperson will promote and sell the organization’s climate-smart products and services to individuals, community groups, and partner organizations, focusing on solutions that support sustainable livelihoods and environmental resilience. Daily tasks include identifying and engaging potential customers, conducting product demonstrations, explaining benefits and pricing, and closing sales in line with organizational targets. The role involves maintaining customer relationships, collecting feedback to improve offerings, preparing basic sales reports, and supporting outreach events, trainings, and community engagements. The Salesperson will collaborate with program and communications teams to align sales activities with ongoing projects and advocacy efforts.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong sales, negotiation, and customer relationship skills, with the ability to meet targets in a community-focused context.
- Candidates should possess communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to explain climate-smart products clearly and engage diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess basic marketing, outreach, and community engagement skills, preferably within environmental or development initiatives.
- Candidates should possess organizational and reporting skills, including the ability to track sales activities and prepare simple sales summaries.
- Knowledge of climate change, sustainable livelihoods, or climate-smart technologies is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with youth, women’s groups, or community-based organizations is an added advantage.
- Minimum of a diploma or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, Environment, Community Development, or a related field is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Wakiso, demonstrate integrity, accountability, and alignment with the organization’s values of equity, inclusion, and sustainability.
