Role Description The Sales Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Melbourne, VIC or Sydney, NSW. The Sales Manager will lead sales activities for Green Eco Technologies’ solutions, including the WasteMaster system, focusing on new business development and growth within target markets. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals, delivering product presentations and demonstrations, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with existing customers, collaborating with operations and technical teams to ensure successful implementations, and providing market feedback to support product and strategy development. The Sales Manager is expected to meet revenue targets, accurately forecast sales, and represent the company at industry events, meetings, and site visits.

Qualifications

  • Sales and business development skills, including lead generation, pipeline management, consultative selling, and contract negotiation.
  • Account management and customer relationship skills, including stakeholder engagement, client retention, and post-sale support.
  • Strategic and analytical skills, such as market research, opportunity analysis, sales forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical solutions clearly, deliver compelling demos, and create professional proposals.
  • Experience in B2B sales, ideally within environmental technology, waste management, sustainability, or related industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and time-management capabilities, with proficiency in CRM systems and standard office software.
  • Knowledge of sustainability practices and interest in environmental innovation; familiarity with the Australian market is an advantage.
