Position Summary

Green Carbon is seeking a highly motivated Program Implementation Officer to support the

deployment and operation of a climate-tech platform in Vietnam. The successful candidate will

serve as the primary bridge between Green Carbon Headquarters, local institutional partners, and

farmers, ensuring effective communication, smooth implementation, and successful adoption of

the system.

This role requires strong bilingual communication skills (Vietnamese and English), stakeholder

management experience, and the ability to independently coordinate implementation activities

while representing Green Carbon's interests at the local level.

Location: Vietnam (Preferred locations: Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Nghe An, An Giang, and Can Tho; willing to travel frequently to project implementation sites)


Key Responsibilities:

1. System Implementation

- Act as the local focal point for the platform implementation in Vietnam.

- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the system, its functions, workflows, and operational

requirements.

- Support onboarding, training, and operational deployment of the platform with partner

institutions and farmers.

- Coordinate with Green Carbon Headquarters and the system development team regarding

implementation progress, issues, and feedback.

- Monitor system adoption and identify operational challenges requiring resolution.

2. Stakeholder Coordination

- Serve as the primary communication bridge between Green Carbon Headquarters and local

implementation partners.

- Maintain regular communication with universities, research institutes, agricultural organizations,

and other implementation partners.

- Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions between stakeholders.

- Ensure that project objectives, timelines, and requirements are clearly communicated and

understood by all parties.

3. Farmer Engagement & Field Support

- Support local implementation activities involving farmers and agricultural communities.

- Assist with training sessions, demonstrations, and awareness activities related to the platform.

- Collect user feedback from farmers and field stakeholders and communicate findings to Green

Carbon Headquarters.

- Monitor field implementation progress and report any challenges affecting adoption or

performance.

4. Problem Solving & Operational Management

- Proactively identify implementation bottlenecks and propose practical solutions.

- Follow up with partners to ensure agreed activities and deliverables are completed on time.

- Support the preparation of implementation plans, progress reports, and operational

documentation.

5. Translation & Cross-Cultural Communication

- Provide accurate communication between Vietnamese-speaking stakeholders and English-

speaking staff.

- Translate project-related information, training materials, reports, and meeting discussions when

required.

- Ensure effective communication and mutual understanding among all stakeholders.

Qualifications


Required

- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Environmental Science, Information Systems, Business

Administration, Rural Development, International Development, or a related field.

- Native or near-native Vietnamese proficiency.

- Professional working proficiency in English (spoken and written).

- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

- Experience coordinating projects involving multiple stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.

- Willingness to travel within Vietnam for field implementation activities.


Preferred

- Experience working with agricultural projects, digital agriculture, climate-smart agriculture,

sustainability projects, or technology deployment initiatives.

- Experience working with universities, research institutes, government agencies, or farmer

organizations.

- Familiarity with mobile applications, digital platforms, or agricultural technology solutions.

- Previous experience working with international organizations or multinational teams.

Type: Full-time employee of Green Carbon Vietnam


Salary: Salary will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Transportation Allowance: Applied. Provided based on company policy. 

Bonuses: 13th Salary and performance bonus (varies based on company performance)


Holidays & Leave: Full 5-day workweek (Saturday and Sunday off), public holidays, paid annual leave.

Standard working hours: 8:00 to 17:00 (8 hours)
