Company Description


Greemazon provides access to affordable biogas for rural to peri-urban communities, and biofertilizer to smallholder farmers through decentralized modular biodigester systems. We also operate an integrated, sustainable livestock farm that converts organic waste into value.


Role Description

The Renewable Energy Program Officer will lead the coordination and implementation of renewable energy projects, including planning, monitoring, and evaluating program delivery. Responsibilities include stakeholder engagement, managing project timelines, overseeing budgets, preparing progress reports, and conducting on-ground assessments. Collaboration with community members, governmental bodies, and industry partners will be integral to drive impactful solutions in renewable energy and sustainable farming practices.


Key Responsibilities


• Represent Greemazon at conferences, exhibitions, and climate events locally and globally.

• Support the design, deployment, and monitoring of decentralized biodigester units.

• Conduct technical assessments and contribute to R&D on biogas and waste-to-energy systems.

• Engage with community stakeholders, smallholder farmers, and partner organizations.

• Prepare reports, presentations, scientific briefs, and technical documentation.

• Work with the operations team to improve energy access and adoption in underserved communities.


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Biochemistry, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or related fields.

• Strong understanding of biogas, anaerobic digestion, waste-to-energy processes, or circular economy solutions.

• Experience or interest in renewable energy sectors (biogas, solar, wind, etc).

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to travel locally and internationally for events, fieldwork, and conferences
