California Climate Action Corps Fellow
California Climate Action Corps is now hiring fellows for the 2026–2027 Cohort!
Ready to turn your passion for climate action into hands-on impact? California Climate Action Corps is now accepting applications for its 11-month paid fellowship beginning September 2026. As part of California Service Corps and AmeriCorps, fellows will serve with public agencies, tribes, nonprofits, and schools across California to help engage communities in climate action, education, and resilience-building.

What You’ll Do
- Fellows will contribute to high-impact climate initiatives, including:
- Urban greening & community forestry
- Organic waste reduction & edible food recovery
- Wildfire resiliency & preparedness

Compensation & Benefits

Required Qualifications:
- Must be located in commutable distance to El Segundo, California, United States
Preferred Qualifications:
- Interest in or experience with climate action, sustainability, environmental education, or climate resilience work
- Interest in or experience working with public agencies, tribes, nonprofits, or schools on community-focused projects
- Interest in or experience contributing to initiatives such as urban greening, community forestry, organic waste reduction, food recovery, wildfire resiliency, or climate education
- Interest in gaining hands-on professional experience and leadership development through an 11‑month full-time fellowship commitment
