Head of Finance | PE-Backed Renewables Business | Central London


I’m working with a rapidly scaling PE-backed Renewable Energy Developer and Operator that is looking for a Head of Finance to build and lead its finance function from the ground up. The business has recently secured significant institutional funding, with a further capital raise planned next year.


Reporting directly to the CFO, you’ll be the first permanent senior finance hire, transitioning the business from an outsourced model to a best-in-class internal finance function.


The Role:


  • Financial reporting, controls and audit
  • FP&A, budgeting and forecasting
  • Treasury, cash management and liquidity
  • Financing and capital planning
  • Finance transformation and systems development
  • Building and developing the finance team


What we're looking for:


  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualified
  • 5+ years' PQE with experience at Head of Finance, Financial Controller, Group FC or similar
  • Strong technical accounting, reporting and FP&A experience
  • Experience in a capital-intensive environment
  • Strong understanding of treasury, cash flow and financial controls
  • A track record of improving or building finance processes
  • Commercial, hands-on and comfortable operating in a high-growth environment
  • Experience across energy, renewables or utilities is required


Package:


  • £100,000–£120,000 base salary
  • Up to 40% discretionary bonus
  • Central London
  • Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days WFH
