Summary:
The Analyst will play a key role within the Capital Markets team to help execute GoodLeap's strategy for funding and managing our solar and home improvement loans. The ideal candidate will understand how a lending business works and have a base knowledge of various funding strategies. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, technical and interpersonal skills, and the desire to work with both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create presentations based on portfolio performance, borrower case studies, and industry data for internal and external stakeholders
  • Interact with existing and potential investors through due diligence sessions, and special requests
  • Analyze data, identify opportunities, answer investor questions, and drive effective decision making
  • Adjust financial models to analyze and show potential internal and external returns on various financial products and structures
  • Research current products, equipment, performance, and pricing in the solar and home improvement industry

Required Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s (or advanced) degree
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience (e.g. consumer finance, project finance, corporate strategy, strategy and operations, structured finance, asset-backed finance, M&A, investment banking, or private equity)
  • Understanding of basic accounting statements: balance sheet, cash flow, income statement
  • Basic understanding of ABS, whole loan sales, various debt, and equity financing structures
  • Expert with MS Excel including VBA, PowerPoint, and highly skilled with other MS Office products including Word
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superb attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, unstructured environment
  • Must be passionate about finance and/or the renewable energy/home improvement space

Compensation:
$110,000 - $115,000/ annually, plus bonus
