Position Summary:

The Human Resources Generalist (HR Generalist) will run the daily HR and Office related job duties for the Goodleap office in Mexico City, to include enforcing company policies and practices, ensures compliance with employment laws and regulations, may assist in interviewing staff, onboarding of new employees, office management, employee coaching, terminations, investigations. Handles employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, supervisors, and managers.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handles HR and employment related inquiries from applicants, employees, and leaders. Maintains and handles all office related job duties to include mail, shipping, review/approve invoices, kitchen duties, ordering and stocking office supplies, point of contact for property management.
  • Employee Relations – Handles inquiries from employees and managers referring to confidential, complex and or sensitive matters. Assists managers with recommended employee coaching/disciplinary actions. Assist with terminations and investigations.
  • Assist with new hire onboarding, new hire orientation, employee recognition programs, employee morale, health and safety, training, and development.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations for Mexico City, recommend best practices, reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Maintains knowledge of trends, regulatory changes, talent management and employment laws.
  • Works closely with HR Manager on project-based job duties and other duties as assigned.

  • Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations in Mexico
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel and other related software
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS system


Location:
Mexico City, Mexico
Compensation: MXN $38,000-66,500/month DOE
