About Good Universe:

Good Universe is an NGO working at the intersection of climate action, woman empowerment, education, and skill development. We’ve been building practical, community-led solutions from adolescent wellbeing to climate education, from championing women's health to empowering communities through robust skill development.

In the decade since our inception, we have impacted over 1 million lives, with clear focus, grassroot engagement, and intersectional programs. Our work is rooted in schools, villages, and underserved communities, where awareness alone isn’t enough, we focus on behaviour change, access, and long-term adoption.

Job Description:

This isn’t a desk-heavy “manager” role, you’ll be in the field, in schools, and in conversations that shape how our climate programs are designed and delivered.

On a day-to-day basis, you will:

  • Plan and run on-ground programs (not just coordinate them on paper)
  • Work with schools, local partners, and communities to execute projects
  • Manage timelines, vendors, and small teams during implementation
  • Track what’s working (and what isn’t) and improve programs accordingly
  • Document progress through reports, photos, and impact data
  • Occasionally host or facilitate workshops and sessions

Who We Are Looking For:

We’re not looking for someone who just “knows about climate change”, we need someone who can make things happen on the ground.

You’ll fit well if you:

  • Have 2–3 years of project management experience
  • Experience in NGOs, social impact, or sustainability projects
  • Are comfortable working in the field and not just from an office
  • Can manage multiple moving parts without things falling apart
  • Are good with people; schools, vendors, community members, and teams
  • Can think practically and solve problems as they come up
  • Care about climate issues, but also understand local realities

Required Skillsets:

  • Program execution and coordination
  • Budgeting and vendor management
  • Reporting and documentation (working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite)
  • Stakeholder communication
  • Ability to run or support programs

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience in climate, sustainability, or environmental programs
  • Experience working with schools or grassroots communities

Why This Role is Different:

At Good Universe, programs don’t stay in PPTs, they get implemented, tested, and improved in real environments. If you’re someone who wants to see the direct impact of your work, take ownership early, and build programs from the ground up, this role will give you that space.

Good Universe is an equal opportunity employer:

We encourage applications from women, persons with disabilities, and candidates from marginalized communities.
