We’re looking for an experienced, driven Head of B2B Marketing to lead and shape our marketing strategy for commercial customers across our energy supply and services business. This is a pivotal leadership role at a genuinely exciting time for Good Energy, as we accelerate growth and prepare to expand our B2B customer base across the UK.
You’ll play a critical role in driving demand for our B2B energy supply, commercial solar and heat solutions, turning ambitious growth plans into tangible results. Working closely with Sales teams, the senior leadership team and strategic partners, you’ll identify and maximise opportunities that directly support our commercial goals.
Highly collaborative by nature, you’ll translate commercial priorities into high-impact marketing activity, partnering with the Heads of Digital and Communications to deliver campaigns that cut through. You’ll develop a deep understanding of our B2B propositions and work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Commercial Director and Sales Director, to unlock both existing and new routes to market and consistently exceed sales targets.
This is a role with real influence, responsibility and visibility, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact in a purpose-driven, flexible and inclusive organisation. You’ll be hands-on in planning, delivering and measuring multi-channel campaigns, supported by a talented and collaborative marketing team, and at the forefront of shaping our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic marketing leadership: Set the vision and own the end-to-end B2B marketing strategy, translating business growth ambitions into clear, measurable marketing plans across the full channel mix.
- Enterprise-scale campaign delivery: Lead the design and execution of integrated B2B campaigns that articulate the value of a complex, end-to-end proposition and consistently generate pipeline and revenue impact.
- Commercial ownership & influence: Act as a senior commercial partner to Sales, Product, Operations and the Executive team, ensuring marketing investment is tightly aligned to revenue targets, customer acquisition goals and long-term growth strategy.
- Senior people leadership: Build, lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, providing strategic direction, coaching and development while embedding a culture of accountability, high standards and creative excellence.
- Operational rigour & governance: Drive operational excellence across the function, balancing strategic ambition with disciplined execution, clear prioritisation and strong performance management in a fast-scaling organisation.

Essentials
- Proven B2B or B2C marketing experience, with a strong track record of driving commercial growth and scaling a B2B customer base through effective, insight-led marketing strategies.
- Demonstrated success delivering results through integrated, multi-channel go-to-market plans across multiple products and propositions.
- Confident people and stakeholder leader, with experience leading teams and presenting clear, compelling insights, performance updates and recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
- Strategic yet hands-on, combining big-picture thinking with strong project management and attention to detail to deliver at pace.
- Commercially astute and resilient, comfortable operating in a fast-growing, high-change environment and balancing competing priorities.
- Experienced in complex, cross-functional delivery, working collaboratively across Sales, Product, Operations and partners to deliver campaigns, events and content that drive measurable impact.
- Quality-driven and improvement-focused, with the confidence to challenge assumptions, refine approaches and raise standards.
- Calm under pressure and highly adaptable, motivated by ambitious targets and committed to delivering high-impact, high-quality outcomes.

Hybrid working explained: When and where you’ll be in the office
Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. For this role, we're looking for candidates who can come in to our Chippenham office, once a week.
We offer both formal and informal flexible working, including part time options. Full-time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
