Join us as we launch and scale Good Energy’s 100% renewable flex contracts proposition! We are looking for an experienced Senior Relationship Manager to build, sustain and grow high-value relationships with customers and partner intermediaries in the flexibility space. You’ll be the strategic interface between our proposition, our partners and the market: driving new business, managing key accounts, guiding commercial execution, and ensuring customers get exceptional value and service. You will be instrumental in accelerating Good Energy's growth and directly enabling the transition to a robust, flexible, and renewable energy portfolio across the UK.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive Commercial Growth: Develop and sustain strategic relationships with key customers, asset owners, aggregators and Third-Party intermediaries (TPIs) involved in flexibility services and contracts.
  • Manage the full commercial lifecycle: Identify opportunities, working on tenders and bids, collaborating with internal teams (product, trading, operations, marketing) to deliver winning offers
  • Act as the lead point of contact for your portfolio: Understanding customer needs, shaping value-led propositions, negotiating contracts and driving upsell/renewal opportunities.
  • Monitor account and partner performance: Track pipelines, present account reviews, report on KPIs, provide insight into deal progression and retention.
  • Provide flex expertise: Act as a subject matter expert on flex contracts and engage at industry events to network and gather market intelligence.
  • Provide strategic input: Drive continuous improvement of internal processes, partner engagement frameworks and the customer journey to ensure our Flex contracts proposition remains competitive and scalable


What you'll need to succeed

You’ll bring proven expertise in selling and managing complex Flex contracts, with a deep understanding of how flexible power arrangements deliver value for business customers. You’ll combine strong commercial acumen with the ability to tailor propositions, negotiate effectively and build lasting relationships. Success in this role depends on your ability to connect with customers, understand their operational and commercial needs, and translate these into clear, compelling solutions that strengthen partnerships and drive growth for Good Energy.


Essentials:

  • Strategic Sales & Customer Management: Experience managing large B2B energy customers, flexible contracts, asset owners, or aggregators.
  • Commercial Acumen: Strong negotiation skills, ability to structure deals, deliver value to both customer and company.
  • Experience with Flex Customers: Strong understanding of Industrial & Commercial (I&C) customer needs and the flex procurement process.
  • Stakeholder Relationship Building: Comfortable engaging senior leaders, intermediaries (TPIs/aggregators), and technical/non-technical audiences.
  • Communication & Presentation: Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex commercial and technical propositions to customers and internal teams.


Desirables:

  • Market Relationships: Strong relationships with TPIs and large I&C energy customers.


Hybrid working explained: When and where you’ll be in the office


Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. For this role, we're looking for candidates who can come in to our Chippenham office, once a week, based on location.


We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full-time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
