Project: Amazon EV Charging Stations
Type: Full-Time / Project-Based (Travel may be required)

Role Summary
We’re looking for a Lead Electrician (Lead Man) to run field operations on an Amazon EV charging station project. This role is hands-on and leadership-focused—owning daily production, crew coordination, quality control, and safety while keeping the job on schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily field operations for EV charger installations (Level 2 / DCFC)
  • Read and execute plans, specs, and site layouts
  • Coordinate manpower, tools, materials, and equipment
  • Install and supervise conduit runs, wire pulls, terminations, panels, transformers, and chargers
  • Interface with GC, inspectors, utility providers, and site leadership
  • Enforce safety standards, lockout/tagout, trenching and concrete coordination
  • Track progress, punch lists, and QA/QC
  • Train helpers and ensure productivity

Requirements

  • Journeyman/Master Electrician preferred (or strong lead experience on commercial projects)
  • Proven experience with EV charging stations, service gear, and commercial electrical
  • Ability to read prints and manage a crew
  • OSHA-10/OSHA-30 preferred
  • Valid driver’s license; able to travel and work outdoors in Florida conditions
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience on Amazon, logistics, or large retail/industrial sites
  • Experience coordinating with utilities and commissioning EV equipment
