Electrical Helper – EV Charging Stations (Amazon)
Location: Tampa, FL
Project: Amazon EV Charging Stations
Type: Full-Time / Project-Based
Role Summary
We’re hiring Electrical Helpers to support installation of EV charging infrastructure at Amazon facilities. This is a great opportunity to gain experience on large-scale commercial EV projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist with conduit installation, trenching coordination, and backfill prep
- Pull wire, set gear, mount chargers, and support terminations under supervision
- Handle material staging, jobsite cleanup, and tool management
- Follow safety protocols and jobsite procedures
- Support the lead electrician and crew to meet production goals
Requirements
- Basic electrical experience preferred (commercial experience a plus)
- Ability to work outdoors in heat and varying weather
- Physically able to lift, climb, and work on ladders/manlifts
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Nice to Have
- Previous experience on EV charger installs, solar, or commercial construction
- OSHA-10 certification
