The Climate Change Enterprise Action Fund supports young entrepreneurs to start up to solve for climate change in Kishanganj, Bihar. The program works in the same school communities where young people are enrolled in Going to School's Climate Enterprise Education program in Grades 6-12. Young people go from Grade 12 to start-up, to create 360 degree climate change communities.

The Program Manager is independently responsible for working with 50 entrepreneurs, to get through green business schools, research business plans and cash-flows, and pitch their enterprises for support. The KPI every 60 days is 50 plans presented for support.

The Program Manager leads a team of 5-10 people to enable 500 young people to complete green business schools in scrap, vegan leather, plastic replacement and more. The team visits every supported entrepreneur every two weeks to troubleshoot and report impact using Salesforce.

The role holds full control, from researching schemes, to ensuring young people really do want to be entrepreneurs, to pricing climate change businesses that have not been started yet in Kishanganj. Eco-bricks from crop waste. Vegan leather from pineapple. Amazing things that no one has seen yet.

Experience.

5-10 years researching and writing sustainable enterprise business plans and cash-flows. Entrepreneur experience. Rural MBA, finance, clean or mechanical engineering, sustainable enterprise.

Requirements.

Field based. Hindi fluency, speaking, reading, writing. English writing fluency. Email, Excel, Salesforce. No AI.

Must be based in Kishanganj, Bihar. Willing to relocate to Kishanganj, Bihar.
