Associate Manager - Environment - 14187
Job Purpose
The Associate Manager - Environment & Sustainability will be reporting to the Environmental Specialist.
Key Accountabilities
Ensuring the continuous operation of the ambient air quality and noise monitoring stations. Maintaining the air quality and noise levels with the prescribed limits of CPCB / TGPCB with operational control measures.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES - Additional Details
Ensuring the environemntal compliance to the applicable environmental legal requirements of the airport.
EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Engaging on implementation of sustainability initiatives, compliance, participation in technical and tactical discussion, regular communication and negotiations of needs and expectations with:

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS
Engaging on representing function, communication of functional needs and sustainability and compliance demand, participation in technical discussion.
Airport Operation Teams: Airside, AOCC, Aviation Service & Terminals on:

Operating expense in > 50 lakh.

B Tech/ M Tech (Engineering) – Subjects: Engineering in Environmental/Chemical/Civil
Relevant Experience
8-9 years or more years of experience in the Environment &Sustainability domain, with minimum 4 years in a large international airport.
COMPETENCIES
- Ensure the continuous operations of 3 CAAQM Stations at the Airport & Ensuring the real-time data transfer to TSPCB and initiate immediate corrective action in case of deviations. Schedule and execute the monthly AMC visits to CAAQMS.
- Ensure the continuous operation of Noise monitoring terminals (NMT's) & Ensuring the data record and initiate immediate corrective action in case of deviations. Schedule and Execute the Fortnight AMC Visit to the NMT'S for the AMC maintenance including CCTV camera O&M.
- Ensuring the safe disposal of hazardous waste, e-waste, municipal solid waste, construction and demolition waste in coordination with stakeholders, Internal departments and Central Stores as per the TGPCB directives.
- Assisting the team in Environment compliance reports preparation and submission to MOEF&CC, and TSPCB as per the timelines. Also uploading the six compliance reports on PARIVESH portal and HYD Airport website.
- Working with internal departments on the Scope 1 & 2 emissions reduction as per net zero carbon (NZC) target
- Scope 3 emissions inventory and calculation of carbon footprint as per GHG protocol Scope 3 guidance
- 3rd party Environmental compliance audit, water audit, ISO 14001 documentation etc.
- Environmental trainings and audits for the airport stakeholders

- Strong knowledge of Climate Change Science and Policies, , International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) initiatives etc.
- Strong understanding of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting tools, estimation procedures and standards- ISO14064, WRI GHG protocol etc
- Operation and maintenance of CAAQM Stations.
