Job Summary:
The Product Manager, Amplify, will drive the end-to-end customer experience that helps customers move from "EV-curious" to confident EV owners. This role leads product requirements, user experience design, pilot orchestration, and customer-facing product delivery for Amplify—a venture within the organization’s Innovation Accelerator focused on accelerating electrification and simplifying the transition to electric vehicles. Working in a fast-paced, startup-like environment within a major energy organization, the Product Manager collaborates across technology, operations, and external partners to deliver seamless, customer-centric digital and physical experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive product requirements and user experiences that reflect customer-first principles, including webpage functionality, data architecture, and core design elements.
  • Build strong partnerships across internal teams to align with the organization’s unified customer electrification vision and roadmap.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable product deliverables and positioning.
  • Lead the planning, launch, and execution of customer-facing pilots and demonstrations, defining GTM strategies for each testing and scaling stage.
  • Collaborate with the Amplify Technology Lead on prototyping, development, and production engineering.
  • Determine build vs. partner strategies for core product components.
  • Establish and maintain partnerships with automotive OEMs and other key providers.
  • Map customer data journeys and ensure compliance with customer and data privacy policies.
  • Orchestrate multiple customer touchpoints—including AI chat, home assessment, contractor dispatch, and digital-to-physical handoffs—to ensure information continuity and seamless experiences.
  • Lead monthly operating reviews and cross-functional reporting.
  • Conduct additional customer research to inform strategy, design, and product decision-making.
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Design, Engineering, or related field.
  • 6+ years of product management experience, ideally in B2C environments.
  • Proven success launching, commercializing, and scaling consumer service-oriented products.
  • Expertise in service design and user experience.
  • Strong skills in customer behavioral analysis and insight-driven product design.
  • Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Comfort working in environments with uncertainty and rapid iteration.
  • Strong self-starter mindset with creative, results-oriented execution.
  • Experience working with both digital and analog workflows.
  • Ability to travel and provide own transportation for onsite meetings.
Nice-to-Have Experience:
  • Automotive industry background.
  • Master’s degree in Business Administration.
  • Experience working in regulated environments.
  • Knowledge of customer data architecture and digital platforms.
  • Experience leading pilots and managing customer-facing operations.
