Role Description
The Co-Founder (Entrepreneurial/Without Investment) will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction and growth of Global Carbon Warriors.
Responsibilities include co-developing business strategies, identifying opportunities for partnerships, onboard and mentor startups to get investor-ready, contributing to the overall growth and development of the organization.
The Co-Founder will also champion initiatives to implement sustainable solutions to address the climate crisis by collaborating with mentors and investors outside, while closely working with startups within the incubator. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for the entire Tamil Nadu.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills in finding the missing links in a startup for driving growth. Ability to mentor
startup founders all through early stages of growth.
- Experience of over 10 years in sales and marketing to develop new markets for new products.
- Flair for driving strategies.
- Proven entrepreneurial mindset and leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication skills for effectively engaging with stakeholders, team members, and investors.
- Proven research skills and a strong understanding of climate-tech and sustainability trends
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work collaboratively and lead initiatives
- Passion for environmental sustainability and addressing the climate crisis
- Experience in cleantech, sustainability, or similar sectors is a strong advantage
- Ideal candidate should come with MBA from a reputed institute and work experience of over 15 years
- At least a couple of years in startups space is nice to have.
