Senior Inside Sales Representative

The Senior Inside Sales Representative is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and expanding relationships with solar installers, EPCs, contractors, and channel partners through proactive outbound prospecting, cold calling, and consultative selling. This role manages an assigned territory and is focused on generating qualified opportunities, onboarding new installer partners, and increasing sales of solar energy solutions, equipment, and related services. The Senior ISR serves as a trusted advisor to solar professionals by understanding their business needs, recommending solutions, and delivering an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales cycle. This position also contributes to overall team success through mentoring, process improvement initiatives, CRM optimization, and sales performance reporting. Job Duties: Business Development & Account Growth Conduct high-volume outbound prospecting activities, including cold calls, emails, and social outreach to generate new business opportunities Develop relationships with solar installers, EPC firms, electrical contractors, roofing companies, and strategic channel partners Identify, qualify, and convert new installer partners into active customers Present solar products, financing options, battery storage solutions, and value-added services Utilize consultative sales techniques to understand customer challenges and recommend appropriate solutions Generate and follow up on quotes, proposals, and sales opportunities Consistently meet or exceed activity metrics, pipeline goals, and revenue objectives Re-engage inactive customers and identify opportunities for account expansion Support new product launches, promotions, and strategic sales initiatives Installer & Customer Support Serve as a primary point of contact for installer partners and customers Resolve customer issues and coordinate with operations, engineering, and technical support teams Provide product specifications, application guidance, and documentation Ensure customers receive timely updates regarding orders, deliveries, and project timelines CRM & Sales Pipeline Management Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and activities within CRM systems Monitor sales performance, lead conversion rates, and territory activity Generate reports and dashboards to improve visibility into sales performance Analyze market trends and competitor activities within assigned territories Partner Onboarding & Training Support onboarding of new solar installers and dealer partners Conduct virtual product training sessions and sales enablement activities Educate partners on company programs, incentives, financing solutions, and available resources Assist with implementation of sales processes that improve partner success and retention Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Proven ability to generate opportunities through cold calling and outbound prospecting Strong understanding of consultative selling and relationship development Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills Ability to build credibility with solar installers, contractors, and business owners Strong negotiation and closing skills Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment Proficiency with CRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting tools Knowledge of solar energy markets, renewable energy trends, battery storage, and distributed generation solutions preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.
