We're looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Environment and Sustainability Officer to lead and support projects that enhance biodiversity, reduce emissions, strengthen climate resilience and help deliver a more sustainable future for the Colac Otway region.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Delivering environmental and sustainability projects and programs
  • Driving climate change mitigation and adaptation initiatives
  • Building strong partnerships with community groups and government agencies
  • Securing grant funding for local projects
  • Developing policies, strategies, education programs and community engagement activities

About The Candidate

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Natural Resource Management or related field
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant professional experience
  • Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Passion for sustainability, conservation and climate action
  • Current Victorian Driver Licence
