Job Description Summary

Our Asset Performance Management segment within Ge Grid Solutions, is a growing business, based on the principle of Digitalization/Optimization of the maintenance of the Grid Assets.

The principle of APM is to help the utilities and the Grid Owners/Operators to shift from the time-based maintenance to the condition based using digital solutions and Subject Matter Experts of the Grid.

The offering of APM includes Enterprise APM platform, Digital Field Inspection Solution, Online Monitoring and Diagnostics sensors in addition to telecom solution.

The APM team is a Global team supported by its own R&D, product, and operation and located in multiple regions around the world. Ge Grid Solution is a pioneer in this domain and have the largest track record of projects globally.

Job Description

You will be reporting to the APM P&L Leader and will be responsible for the growth of APM and Digital services business in your Region.

You will have the responsibility to grow the pipeline, achieve a Sales Target and deploy the APM Go To Market Strategy, you will be supported by the APM central team for Subject Matter Expertise, Software Architecture, product demonstration and tendering activities to build offers.

MISSION and Responsibility

  • In charge of sales target and business development growth for Asset Performance Management and digital solutions within the organization
  • Develop business opportunities and conduct significant campaigns to win Digital Services focused on the Asset Performance Management (APM) business (promotion of Energy APM) outcome based.
  • Build a go to market strategy for an enterprise solution including other GE products and solution
  • Promote and develop APM business with the utilities and industrial customers in the Middle East and Turkey and Africa (META) region
  • Leverage GE Grid Service & REN experience / capabilities to grow the pipeline Digital Services.
  • Engage early on all grid key deals to promote proactively Digital Services
  • Negotiate and close very complex and high value deals in concert with direct sales staff
  • Communicate, educate and enable the regional sales team on sales practices and process
  • Identify and growing the digital/APM opportunities by combining current GE portfolio
  • Establish commercial contracts and agreements with customers to support Service agreements delivery leveraging the global templates
  • Lead proposal team to develop innovative and creative solutions to benefit the business and the customers
  • Develop customer centric solutions to resolve customer challenges and build long term mutually beneficial relationships
  • Utilize current market data to prepare regional strategies and marketing and campaign initiatives and promote brand awareness
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all activities

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Wealth of experience in SW/electrical expertise & experience business
  • High level experience in the sales and business development in the ERCIS region
  • Grid automation, Digital and Grid Services business
  • Experience in a similar position with a network already in this sector (grid/digital/software solutions)
  • High active listening skills / product is complex
  • Flexibility and resilience to support teams
  • Autonomous and "do er' spirit
