The Grid Automation P&L Leader for France and Africa will be responsible to build the business strategy for the region addressing these growing challenges and opportunities from our market.
He will be responsible to develop the P&L and to ensure first-class Operations. The role includes a direct management of the Operational functions (Order Fulfillment, Projects, Engineering, Services, Technical Support) and a functional management of our Commercial functions (Sales, tendering application).

The Grid Automation P&L Leader for France and Africa will be responsible to build the business strategy for the region addressing these growing challenges and opportunities from our market.

P&L Responsibilities for the business

Cover Grid Automation Portfolio:Protection, Automation & Control, Monitoring & Diagnostic, Asset Performance Management

Essential Responsibilities:

• Promote a safe working environment, ensure compliance with EHS, quality and Integrity policies (GE Values)
• Ensuring Grid Automation growth within the region. Building strategy plan, in collaboration with commercial/sales function, and operational capabilities
• In charge of delivering the Budget P&L: orders growth (with commercial/sales function), sales, margin, cash, cost control, Risks & Opportunities, and recovery & mitigations plan
• Lead change management to ensure teams accountability, business focus and customers mindset within the team
• Be responsible for building strong long-term relationships with customers
• Manage skills and development plan of the team (project & account management, expertise for complex project)

Reporting line

The Grid Automation - P&L Leader for France & Africa will report directly to the Regional General Manager of the region

Qualifications / Requirements

• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college or same knowledge/experience.
• Proven experience in leading a P&L, strong business acumen with successful management experience and discipline in managing a business
• Strong capacity to lead multi-cultural teams and to work in international matrix organization. Ability to easily interact at various levels of the company including executive leaders
• Ability to influence and to drive changes through exceptional leadership & communication skills, personal engagement, resilience, autonomy. Ability to achieve organizational goals.
• Understanding of the Energy market & dynamics would be a plus.
• Fluent in English and French
