Job Description Summary

All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers' site/property. These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products. Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering. Accountable for the quality of own work. Subject to direct operations supervision/prescribed work instructions/systems checking. Executes within a well-defined operations framework. There is generally a step by step sequence of standard operational tasks which need to be followed to achieve an end result.

Job Description

As a maintenance staff of a wind power generator manufacturer, Employee will be in charge of the following operations at Gimnyeong wind farm (wind power plants) in Korea.


1. Maintenance and inspection of wind power generation equipment

  • Periodic inspection work (prescribed inspection work will be carried out based on the maintenance manual)

  • Daily inspection work (perform daily inspection such as visual patrol)


2. Wind power generator repair / improvement work

  • Emergency repair work (when an abnormality or malfunction occurs in the wind power generator, the cause will be investigated and the trouble will be resolved promptly)

  • Improvement work (Implementation work to improve the performance and reliability of wind power generators)

3. Customer support

  • Regular reporting work, communication etc.


4. Arrangement and management of outsourced companies

  • When outsourcing maintenance work, (1) gathering information from outsourcer, and (2) site management.


  • Outsourced companies are not limited to Korean companies but may be foreign companies.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor of Electrical/Electronic Engineering from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 2~3 years of experience in Services).

  • Verbal and written communication skill in Korean and English.
