The Offshore Wind installed base will grow six-fold in the next few years requiring us to focus on the operational standards, tools, and processes that support this scale and the high availability we promise our customers.

Digital Transformation department as part of Offshore Service organization is focused on improving operational efficiency of our rapidly growing Offshore Wind installed base through the creation, standardization and interconnection of digital tools and related processes. With that we achieve closer alignment to the specific operational needs of our offshore service organization with a clear focus on productivity enhancements while continuing to invest in capabilities required in the coming years.

Digital transformation department is demanding the position of a “Digital Project Manager” DPM.

The DPM (Digital Project Manager) is responsible for initiating, planning, executing, managing and implementing projects with a digital component. He or she is a business analyst, a communicator, a people person, a manager, a leader, and a strategist all rolled into one.
The digital project manager is also a leader. He/She understands the strengths and weaknesses of his/her team members, motivates them through rough days, and helps them reach their full potential.
The DPM will work with clients, outside contractors, stakeholders inside Offshore and Onshore organization, and the project team to ensure that the project meets its stated goals on time and within budget.

Digital Project Manager (DPM) Roles and Responsibilities:

• Defining a project's scope and planning the activities necessary to achieve its goals
• Estimating workloads, budgets, and developing schedules
• Analyzing risks to the project and dealing with changes in project's scope
• Maintaining, managing, and delegating resources effectively
• Helping both the client and his own organization meet its financial and long-term business goals
• Individual will be responsible to ensure all deliverables for the team are completed with specified quality standards and deployed timelines
• Collaborating with designers, developers and strategists
• Manage resources, cross-functional team communication and daily stand-ups for progress between design and development
• Work closely with team members and stakeholders for problem statement definition, requirements and designers/Developers to track requirements throughout a project’s lifecycle
• Exceptional attention to detail and highly organized

• Excellent communicatior; both written and spoken
• Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Digital Project Manager (DPM) Skills:

• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Scrum, Agile, etc.
• Ability to draw up work schedules and delegate tasks effectively
• Negotiation skills for dealing with stakeholders and getting resources to agree with deadlines
• People skills, especially the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
• Time management skills and strong communication capabilities
• Offshore business know-how, especially an understanding of how each project affects the business' short and long-term financial goals
• Basic account management skills, especially the ability to create proposals and quotes
• Analytical skills to assess and evaluate projects
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to multitask effectively
• Leadership skills and the ability to work with multiple people simultaneously

Besides these, are also needed a number of technical skills to work in a DPM role:

Technical Digital Project Manager (DPM) Skills:

• Knowledge of project management software such as Microsoft project, Smartsheet, Jira, etc…
• Knowledge of content management systems (CMS)
• Writing skills, especially as they relate to content creation
• Basic technical skills such as HTML/CSS/SQL/Java/MySQL/C++/Phyton
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with databases
• Powerpoint and presentation skills

Experience:

• Significant experience in a digital or software development organization
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience in interactive project management. We need someone who is confident and comfortable with the demands this role will require from the very start
• Experience with the development of large-scale and strong understandgin of software development technology, third party applications and platforms like AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Management degree, especially an MBA is a plus
