Senior Consultant
We have an exciting opening for a Consultant or Senior Consultant to contribute to complex energy and climate initiatives with real-world impact. You will contribute to high-level projects across energy markets, system planning, and decarbonization, with increasing ownership over workstreams as you progress.
Responsibilities
- Deliver analytical work using models, spreadsheets, and research to support client decisions
- Lead defined project workstreams and manage tasks end to end
- Develop written content for reports, memos, and presentations
- Present findings to clients and respond to technical and strategic questions
- Conduct independent research and form defensible assumptions with incomplete data
- Apply quality assurance standards to analyses and deliverables
- Improve and maintain analytical tools and models
- Translate technical outputs into clear visuals and narratives
- Support proposal development and internal initiatives as needed
Requirements
- Master's degree or PhD in engineering, economics, computer science, public policy, or a related field
- 3–5+ years of experience in energy, climate, or adjacent analytical fields
- Demonstrated experience in areas such as energy systems, markets, electrification, or infrastructure planning
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven project ownership, time management, and attention to detail
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; programming experience is a plus
- Commitment to the transition to a low-carbon economy
