EV Charging System Field Service Representative
Job Description
Field Service Technician - Master Electrician for residential installation and commissioning of home EV charging and home energy distribution/ storage systems.
50+% travel - You can live anywhere in the US (preferably near an airport) and must be able to support clients 8:00a.m. - 8:00 p.m. EST
Training in MI at the beginning of the contract.
Looking for Master Electricians to provide onsite troubleshooting and analysis of customer cases at residential homes involving the functionality, installation, and commissioning of home charging and home energy distribution/storage systems
- Provide resolution guidance during site visits to technical advisors, installers and/or customers
- Support clear communication of technical issues, repair processes and system functionality
- Use required and available tools to perform diagnosis and troubleshooting
- Ensure high customer satisfaction during issue resolution
Products you will work with:
· EV Chargers- single directional and vehicle to home charging
· Energy storage systems- giant batteries
MUST have strong communication skills, working with VIP customers. Someone with solar energy experience would be a good fit.
Communication/Training/Feedback
- Coordinate on-site visit support with customer care support and operations
- Work closely with customer care, technical advisors and warranty to support product returns
- Provide reports and summaries to comply with required documentation and deliverables
- Train other field service engineers as required
- Support creation of technical training materials based on experience
- Provide insights/feedback to improve products, processes and customer satisfaction
You will be working hand in hand with the Customer Success Support Specialist who will be trouble shooting and supporting installations remotely over the phone. They would escalate their issues to this team.
