About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior ESG Analyst to provide technical ESG expertise and help drive our organisation’s ESG strategy, climate and sustainability reporting and performance. Partnering with the GM, Governance, Risk and Compliance, ESG Steering Committee and Head of Enterprise Risk, you will help establish ESG priorities, strengthen ESG governance and ensure ESG risks, opportunities and performance are effectively identified and reported.
You will work across the organisation and with external ESG specialists where required, when expert advice on sustainability matters, emerging regulatory requirements and evolving best practice is required.
Key Responsibilities
You are an experienced ESG or sustainability professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial thinking and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across a complex organisation.

About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior ESG Analyst to provide technical ESG expertise and help drive our organisation’s ESG strategy, climate and sustainability reporting and performance. Key Responsibilities
- Climate & Decarbonisation: Monitor and report on the Net Zero Strategy and Decarbonisation Roadmap, including emissions reduction targets, portfolio re-baselining, climate performance and sustainability initiatives.
- Reporting & Disclosure: Prepare ESG and climate-related reporting for the Board, Audit & Risk Committee, Executive, investors, customers, ratings providers, auditors and other external stakeholders, in accordance with frameworks including AASB S2, ISSB, GRI and TNFD.
- GHG & Data Management: Manage the collection, validation, analysis and reporting of ESG and GHG emissions data, ensuring accuracy, traceability, audit readiness and strong internal controls. Support assurance processes and implement improvement recommendations.
- Analysis & Modelling: Conduct climate and sustainability analysis, scenario modelling, trend assessments and commercial analysis, including IRR, NPV and payback, to identify ESG risks and opportunities and support sustainability and decarbonisation investment decisions.
- ESG Advice & Continuous Improvement: Act as an internal ESG subject-matter expert, respond to business queries as required, monitor emerging ESG regulations and trends, and engage external specialists where required.
You are an experienced ESG or sustainability professional who combines strong technical capability with commercial thinking and the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across a complex organisation.
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, Business, Economics, Finance or a related discipline, with 3+ years' relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of ISSB, AASB S2, GRI and TCFD, Australian sustainability reporting requirements, GHG accounting and climate-related disclosures.
- Demonstrated experience in ESG reporting, GHG inventories, carbon accounting, emissions calculations and assurance processes.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling and data interpretation skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical business recommendations.
- Strong understanding of ESG risk, governance and the practical integration of sustainability into business operations.
- Excellent communication, project management and relationship-building skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, ESG reporting systems and data visualisation tools such as Power BI.
