Mechanical HVAC Engineer

Mechanical HVAC Engineer | Raleigh, NC

We’re looking for a Mechanical HVAC Engineer with strong MEP design experience to join our client's growing team in Raleigh, NC. If you’re passionate about HVAC system design, construction coordination, and delivering high-quality projects across diverse building types, we’d love to connect.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with the preparation of design drawings, including ductwork design/layout, load calculations, Title 24 calculations, and control diagram design.
• Perform site surveys and develop product specifications.
• Conduct quality control reviews of construction documents to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Coordinate closely with architects, structural, civil, and electrical engineers throughout project phases.
• Support construction administration by responding to field questions and reviewing submittals as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME).
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design for MEP or related fields.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Windows environment.
• Strong background in HVAC system design.
• Knowledge of California building and energy codes (preferred).
• Field construction experience is a plus.
