We are seeking a skilled Electrical MEP Engineer with 3–6 years of experience in building systems design to join our growing team. This role will support the design and coordination of electrical systems for commercial, healthcare, institutional, and light industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Design power distribution systems, lighting, grounding, and low-voltage systems in accordance with NEC and local codes
- Develop electrical drawings, specifications, and calculations
- Perform load studies, short circuit, and voltage drop calculations
- Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, civil, and architectural teams
- Participate in client meetings and design review discussions
- Conduct field visits and assist with construction administration support
- Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3–6 years of experience in MEP consulting
- EIT preferred
- PE license or ability to obtain a plus
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
- Strong understanding of NEC and building codes
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
