We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in Irvine, California. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with a strong background in building electrical systems who enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and leading complex projects from concept through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineer building power systems, lighting systems, and lighting control systems
• Develop electrical designs for fire alarm systems, telephone/public address systems, and data networking
• Perform energy audits, electrical studies, and prepare technical reports
• Support and execute design-build services and electrical distribution systems
• Lead and manage support staff, providing technical guidance and mentorship
• Coordinate closely with Architects, Clients, and other Consultants throughout all project phases
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical engineering and building systems design
• Proven expertise in:
• • Lighting design and lighting controls
  • Building power and electrical distribution
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Telecommunications, PA, and data networking systems
  • Energy audits, studies, and report writing
• Experience working on educational, medical, and commercial facilities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and mentor support staff
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
