Job Description

Seeking a Mechanical Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in mechanical and HVAC design. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in building systems, project coordination, and engineering calculations. EIT certification is preferred, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVAC and mechanical systems for commercial and institutional projects.
  • Perform heating and cooling load calculations, equipment selection, and system sizing.
  • Prepare construction documents, specifications, and engineering reports.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients.
  • Conduct site visits, review submittals, and provide construction administration support.
  • Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • 4–7 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in MEP consulting.
  • EIT certification preferred; PE license strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, and mechanical design software.
  • Knowledge of HVAC systems, ASHRAE standards, and applicable building codes.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
