Industry & Engagement Manager

Future Food Movement works with leaders and teams across the food industry to build practical skills, strengthen decision making and support real progress on climate, health and trust. Our members include major manufacturers, retailers, foodservice operators and innovative challenger brands. We operate at the intersection of commercial reality and long term system change.
Role focus
This role manages and improves our membership experience. You will manage the core rhythm of communications, events and engagement and contribute to building the communications strategy of the business. The emphasis is structured planning, reliable delivery and continual improvement based on evidence and feedback.
Key responsibilities
Membership and engagement
- Own the member benefits calendar and ensure activity is delivered to a high standard
- Coordinate sessions and logistics from briefing to follow up
- Monitor participation and feedback. Highlight issues early
- Manage inbound enquiries through CRM and support onboarding
Communications
- Plan and deliver timely member communications across email, social and newsletters
- Draft short, clear content that promotes activity and shares member stories
- Work with design colleagues to produce simple, effective materials
- Maintain an accurate engagement calendar
Events
• Coordinate online and in person events including webinars, workshops and member sessions
• Manage invites, bookings, briefing notes and run sheets
• Support smooth delivery on the day and capture outputs for future use
Insight and reporting
- Track engagement and maintain accurate CRM records
- Produce simple updates for internal teams
- Share insights that inform decisions and improve member experience
Experience and capability
- Three to five years in marketing, communications, events or membership roles
- Strong organisation and clear written communication
- Confident managing events and concurrent deadlines
- Reliable, practical, detail focused and comfortable with CRM and scheduling tools
- Interest in food systems and sustainability

Permanent full time
Remote first with occasional meetings and events in London and across the UK
Salary: £34k to £38k plus benefits
