Job Summary:

Freedom Solar Power is looking for a customer service-oriented Service Coordinator to join our growing team! The service team plays a critical role in providing exceptional customer experience while answering customer inquiries related to solar system service calls. You will be serving as a liaison between customers and service technicians to ensure efficient and timely solutions to clients. This is an in-office opportunity.

Level of Supervision Required: General

Job Duties:

  1. Monitoring customer solar systems and educating homeowners on the system efficiency and productivity.
  2. Creating and tracking work orders and work-flow maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  3. Handling invoicing for all service calls and coordination payments with accounting.
  4. Ensuring customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer support.
  5. Serving as a liaison between our customers and solar technicians.
  6. Scheduling and dispatching Service Technicians.
  7. Answering customers concerns or service requests regarding their solar products.
  8. Understanding the Freedom Solar Products and installation process to answer questions appropriately.
  9. Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Competency:

  • Work under pressure.
  • Handle high-stress calls and customer escalations.
  • Working knowledge of the solar industry, installation processes or electricals.
  • Highly organized.
  • Ability to self-manage.
  • Ability to manage projects in pipelines.
  • Team mentality.
  • Flexible to change.

Education and Experience Required:

  • At least 1 year of high-volume customer engagement experience
  • Must be able to multi-task and handle working under pressure.
  • Prior solar experience in a monitoring, sales or service capacity a strong plus!
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Must possess professionalism and a positive attitude.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
