Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking motivated and customer-focused candidates to join our team as Inside Sales Representatives. This role is responsible for supporting sales growth by managing inbound and outbound sales activities, assisting customers and installers, and helping drive adoption of FranklinWH products.
The Inside Sales Representative will work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, support product inquiries, and deliver best-in-class customer service. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced renewable energy environment.
This role is an onsite position based at our San Jose Headquarters.
Responsibilities :
• Support achievement of inside sales revenue targets and KPIs established by leadership.
• Identify, qualify, and follow up on sales opportunities through inbound leads and outbound outreach.
• Manage assigned customer and installer accounts, ensuring consistent communication and relationship development.
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers and partners.
• Assist installers and distributors with onboarding steps and product adoption.
• Respond to customer inquiries related to product performance, applications, and order status (leveraging technical resources when needed).
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline updates, and customer interactions within CRM systems.
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Field Sales, Operations, and Service teams to resolve customer needs.
• Support promotional programs, product launches, and sales campaigns.
• Assist in preparing quotes, proposals, and sales documentation.
• Monitor market feedback and share insights with the Sr. Inside Sales Manager and Leadership Team.
• Participate in product training and continuous learning related to FranklinWH solutions.
Desired Skills & Experience:
• 3+ years of inside sales, customer service, or sales support experience (renewable energy or industrial sales preferred).
• Strong professional communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to build rapport and sustain relationships with customers and partners.
• Solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to identify sales opportunities and upsell where appropriate.
• Comfortable managing multiple accounts and priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to read and interpret technical product information (training provided).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 required; CRM experience preferred.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience.
