Position Overview

Responsible for leading regulatory affairs, policy advocacy, government liaisoning and grid

connectivity for Wind, Solar and BESS projects across India. The role will drive regulatory

strategy, approvals, compliance and stakeholder engagement to support business and

project development objectives.


Key Responsibilities

• Lead Regulatory Affairs & Policy Advocacy for renewable energy projects across

India.

• Manage ISTS Connectivity and GNA compliance, including connectivity applications,

JCC reporting, Con-4 approvals, grid access and metering approvals.

• Coordinate with CTUIL, PGCIL, CEA, RLDCs, MNRE, MoP, SECI, SNA and State

Government authorities for approvals, clarifications and regulatory matters.

• Monitor and interpret central/state renewable energy policies, regulations and

regulatory orders, advising senior management on business impact and

opportunities.

• Drive approvals related to Power Evacuation, Grid Connectivity, Capacity Allocation,

PPA, Land and other statutory requirements.

• Represent the organization before government departments, regulatory authorities

and industry associations and lead policy advocacy initiatives.

• Identify and mitigate regulatory and project-development risks for new Wind, Solar

and BESS opportunities.

• Provide regulatory support for project development, tenders, contracts, M&A and

investment evaluations, including due diligence.

• Maintain regulatory trackers, compliance calendars and MIS/reporting for senior

management.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with key government, regulatory and

industry stakeholders.


Qualification

• Engineering/relevant Graduate degree; MBA/ postgraduate qualification preferred


Experience

• 10- 12 years in Renewable Energy / Power Sector, with strong exposure to Policy

Advocacy, Regulatory Affairs, Relationships with MNRE/CTUIL/CERC/ CEA and

industry peers/ Knowledge around GNA and ISTS Connectivity
