The Role:

As a Magnetics Design Engineer, you'll design custom transformers, inductors, and chokes that solve real-world power conversion challenges. You'll work across the full spectrum of magnetic technologies-ferrite, powdered iron, nanocrystalline, amorphous, Sendust-and multiple construction methods (bobbin-wound, toroidal, planar). Every project brings new technical puzzles to solve.

What You'll Do:

* Design high-frequency magnetic components for sophisticated power electronics applications

* Master electromagnetic simulation tools (ANSYS Maxwell or equivalent) while continuously learning emerging technologies

* Drive innovation in thermal management, efficiency optimization, and manufacturability

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams on complex electrical, mechanical, and compliance challenges

* Lead prototype development, testing, and validation

* Create detailed technical documentation and specifications

What Makes You a Fit:

* Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering (or related field preferred)

* 5+ years designing magnetic components for power electronics

* Strong foundation in magnetic materials, core losses, winding techniques, and insulation systems

* Experience with FEA and electromagnetic modeling tools

* Knowledge of relevant safety standards (UL, IEC)

* Hands-on experience with thermal management and derating practices

* Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Inventor

* Passion for continuous learning and technical growth
