We're hiring a Growth Lead to drive installer acquisition and help build the commercial engine at Fornax. This is a front-line role with real ownership from day one.
You'll be the energy behind our outreach, the person who picks up the phone, sends the follow-up, and doesn't stop until the pipeline is full. You'll work directly with our founders and Platform Director, learning how a seed-stage startup builds commercial traction from scratch.

? About Fornax
Fornax is building the tools to allow everyone to participate in the transition to clean, abundant energy. We created the UK's only fully managed, financially protected heat pump subscription, making it simple for homeowners to switch to clean heating. We make it profitable for the installers who deliver it.
We offer installers compliance support, embedded consumer finance, and working capital loans so they can grow their businesses. In return, we get a nationwide network of installers delivering heat pumps at scale.
We're an elite team of 10 moving with focus and speed. Funded by leading venture capital investors, we're scaling our operations so that we can facilitate 1,000’s of heat pump installations each year. The UK has committed to decarbonising homes - the future market for clean energy tech is enormous and we're building the infrastructure that enables it.
We're an AI-native company. We use AI across the business - from operations to outreach to product - and we expect everyone on the team to do the same. If you're already experimenting with AI tools, you'll fit right in.
This isn't a big company with layers of management. You'll sit in the same room as the people making the decisions. What you do will directly shape how fast we grow.
? What You Will Do
- Installer outreach at volume. You'll be on the phone, on email, on LinkedIn - reaching out to heat pump installers across the UK and getting them excited about what Fornax offers. This is high-touch, high-energy work. You'll take the playbook that the existing team has built and run it at scale.
- Pipeline management. You'll own the top of the funnel in HubSpot - tracking leads, following up relentlessly, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. You'll know where every prospect is and what they need to move forward.
- Onboarding support. Once an installer says yes, you'll help them through the early stages of onboarding - coordinating paperwork, chasing certification steps, and making sure they get to their first install as quickly as possible.
- Market mapping. You'll research and identify target installer segments, geographic clusters, and partnership channels. You'll help us figure out where the next 500 installers are coming from.
- Process improvement. You'll spot what's slow, what's broken, and what could be better. We want someone who doesn't just follow a process - they improve it. If you find a faster way to qualify leads or a better way to structure outreach, we want to hear it.
- Cross-functional collaboration. You'll work closely with Sam (Platform Director), David (CEO), and Alex (COO). You'll have visibility across the whole business and a seat at the table when it comes to commercial strategy.
? What We're Looking For
Must-haves:
- Right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor visas unfortunately).
- You're extroverted and energetic. You enjoy talking to people and you're comfortable picking up the phone to someone you've never met.
- You follow up relentlessly. You don't wait to be chased - you chase.
- You're organised and self-directed. You can manage your own pipeline, prioritise your own day, and flag when something's off.
- You communicate clearly - in writing and on calls. No waffle.
- You want to develop a broad set of commercial skills, not just "do sales". You're curious about how a business actually works.
- You're comfortable with ambiguity. Things change fast at a startup. That excites you, not stresses you.
- You're fluent with AI tools and genuinely curious about what's next. We don't need you to be an expert, but we need you to be someone who experiments, learns fast, and isn't waiting to be told which tool to use.
Nice-to-haves:
- Some experience in B2B outreach, lead generation, working with SMEs or business development (internships and side projects count).
- Familiarity with a CRM (HubSpot is a bonus, but any CRM experience shows you understand pipeline thinking).
- Interest in energy, climate tech, proptech, or construction.
- Previous startup experience - or at least an understanding of what early-stage means.
- An operational mindset. You think about systems, not just tasks.
Not required:
- A specific degree. We care about what you can do, not where you studied.
- Energy sector experience. We'll teach you the domain.
? Perks & Compensation
- Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 base plus 50% on-target bonus (£60k - £82k OTE)
