Sustainable Living Officer & Project Support Assistant
Are you passionate about people and the planet?
Do you want to help empower women and communities across Northern Ireland to take meaningful climate action?
We are seeking a motivated, inspiring and values-driven project team to deliver our Climate Conscious Communities project — a five-year initiative, funded by National Lottery Community Fund, led by Footprints Women’s Centre (FWC) in partnership with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful (KNIB), Fareshare NI and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC). It seeks to empower women and girls in communities across Northern Ireland to lead locally driven climate action and advocate for feminist climate justice. The project addresses both the structural inequalities that women face and the urgent need for community-level climate mitigation through practical, meaningful, and co-designed action.
We are seeking a Sustainable Living Officer and a Project Support Assistant to join our team. You will help bring our vision to life by engaging, educating, and supporting women’s centres, their members, and wider communities to adopt more sustainable everyday practices. You will champion practical, creative, and community-led initiatives that reduce carbon footprints, promote sustainable living, and build climate resilience across Northern Ireland.
If you’re passionate about sustainability and eager to make a real difference we’d love to hear from you!
