Role Overview:

We are seeking a Research Fellow to join our team and lead evidence-based projects that advance knowledge and practice in food innovation. This fellowship is ideal for individuals with strong research expertise who want to translate insights into actionable strategies for impact.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct applied research on food systems, sustainability, and emerging technologies.
  • Develop reports, publications, and policy briefs that inform decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with startups, universities, and community partners to generate and share knowledge.
  • Design and evaluate pilot projects, measuring outcomes and impact.
  • Contribute to Food Innovation Studio’s thought leadership through workshops, conferences, and public engagement.


Target Profile: We are looking for candidates with:

  • Educational Background: Master’s or PhD in Food Science, Agriculture, Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Economics, or related fields.
  • Experience: 3–5 years in applied research, academia, or consulting, ideally within food systems, sustainability, or innovation.


Skills:


  • Strong research design and data analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across disciplines.
