Independent Strategy Consultant - PE/VC

Flexing It has partnered with Our client, a Climate Tech Company is in the process of setting up a bio-energy venture and is seeking a Strategy Consultant to support market research, analytics, and development of a comprehensive business plan. The role will be critical in shaping the commercial and strategic roadmap for the venture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research on the bio-energy sector, including demand-supply dynamics, regulatory landscape, and competitive analysis
• Perform financial and commercial analytics to assess project viability and scalability
• Support end-to-end business plan development, including market entry strategy, revenue models, cost structures, and risk assessment
• Evaluate investment feasibility, funding options, and growth opportunities
• Develop strategic recommendations for go-to-market, partnerships, and long-term expansion
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate insights into actionable strategy outputs

Skills Required

• Background in Strategy Consulting, Business Finance, Corporate Strategy, or Investment Analysis
• Experience in research, analytics, and business planning (sector exposure to energy, renewables, infrastructure, or sustainability is a plus)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills
• Ability to work independently and structure ambiguous problems

Preferred / Optional Experience

• Exposure to PE / VC / Investment Banking / Infrastructure funds is optional, not mandatory
• Experience with early-stage ventures, feasibility studies, or greenfield projects is an advantage
