Manufacturing Engineering Engineer (KMT1 DepThermal)

Basic Job Functions:

  • Conceives, develops and evaluates plans and criteria for the completion of process improvement project.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline or Physical Science Field or the equivalent. Preferably: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Materials, Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 1-2 years Process Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills/Competencies:

Behavioral:

  • General electrical/electronic knowledge.
  • History of successful problem solving
  • Proven quality skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Good communications skills, both oral and written.
  • Proven Technical problem-solving skills.

Technical:

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and statistical software.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards, statistical methods and SPC tools.
  • Glass, Lamination, Photovoltaic and/ or Automation experience preferred.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop documents and enforces standard operating procedures and process description.
  • Responsible to interface with other company, customer and supplier representatives.
  • Responsible to develop, continually improve, and document robust solar module manufacturing processes to achieve the highest product performance in a cost-efficient manner.
  • Evaluate new proposed equipment according to process standards.
  • Plan process experiments, collects and analyses data and report experiments results.
  • Maintain effective communication levels and fosters Team Building.
  • Exhibits a self-directed, proactive approach to problem solving.
  • Domestic and International travel as required.
  • Adheres to all safety procedures and good housekeeping standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and Responsible Business Alliance policies and procedures that is enforced within the organization.
