We’re looking for a high-energy Field Sales Manager to launch and grow our ABE region team. This role begins as a hands-on field leadership position and, with strong performance, can quickly grow into a District Manager opportunity. We’re looking for someone who understands sales, solar, or both—and knows how to inspire a team to win.

Our field sales organization helps local homeowners lower their energy costs through an energy tech platform that automatically shops their PPL bill for the best available rates, while also connecting them with rooftop solar consultation appointments.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead from the front—train, coach, and mentor new field representatives serving PPL customers across the Lehigh Valley.
  • Drive performance by building a strong, motivated team of field leaders.
  • Conduct in-home rooftop solar system consultations and support representatives in the field.
  • Represent a mission-driven company focused on reducing energy expenses for local residents.

As the Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Training representatives on sales scripts and best practices.
  • Leading field training sessions while mentoring, coaching, and developing sales talent.
  • Executing and overseeing canvassing efforts to grow the residential customer base.
  • Running discovery calls and delivering rooftop solar proposals to qualified prospects.
  • Managing daily team operations to ensure individual and team KPIs and goals are consistently met.
  • Collaborating with the Rooftop Manager to move projects efficiently through to completion.
  • Tracking market trends and competitor activity to uncover new growth opportunities.
  • Reviewing performance metrics to evaluate team effectiveness and implementing strategic improvements.
  • Partnering with the recruiter to expand the internal W2 field team, and independently sourcing and onboarding 1099 representatives and channel partners.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated sales experience, ideally within the renewable energy sector, with a background in mentoring or developing others.
  • Solid understanding of solar products and B2C outside sales.
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a proven ability to motivate, guide, and grow a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills; bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and time-management skills.
