Early-Stage IoT + SaaS Startup | HVAC & Real Estate Tech

About Filter Fox

Filter Fox is building intelligent HVAC monitoring technology that helps property operators prevent equipment failure, reduce energy waste, and protect net operating income.

We are currently deploying MVP #2 into field validation (5–10 units) and building a disciplined, data-backed go-to-market architecture ahead of our next capital raise.

This internship works directly with the Founder and GTM strategist to design and execute the early-stage growth engine.

What You’ll Work On

You will help build the foundational GTM architecture, including:

• Market research and ICP refinement

• TAM / SAM / SOM modeling

• Financial impact modeling for portfolio operators

• Survey deployment & validation analysis

• Buyer journey mapping

• Channel analysis (Direct-to-Portfolio, Developer, OEM, Distributor)

• Early CAC tracking framework

• CRM buildout and pipeline support

• Competitive research & positioning

This is not a “marketing intern” role.

This is applied startup strategy and execution.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong analytical thinker

• Comfortable with spreadsheets and financial modeling

• Clear written communicator

• Interested in startups, venture, or SaaS

• Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity

• Business, finance, engineering, or economics background preferred

• Bonus: real estate, HVAC, or climate tech interest

What You’ll Gain

• Direct exposure to founder-level strategy

• Experience building a GTM engine from zero

• Real ownership and responsibility

• Investor-facing work

• Startup operations experience across hardware + SaaS

This is hands-on, high-leverage work.

Compensation

Paid internship (hourly or stipend depending on experience).

Part-time (10–20 hrs/week).

Flexible schedule.
