Your Tasks

PV and BESS Expert (m/f/x)
Your Tasks
- Collaboration on the implementation of PV, BESS and hybrid projects in Perú and South America
- Preparation and participation in feasibility studies, design developments, PV systems optimizations, solar resource and energy production evaluations
- Leading and contributing to technical due diligence reviews
- Support throughout various project phases, from concept to design, tendering, construction monitoring and commissioning
- Close collaboration with internal, external and international stakeholders, e.g. project developers, component suppliers, IPPs and lenders
- Performing site visits and meetings during various project phases and in different countries
- Active support in the development of sales activities and project implementation in Peru and across Latin America
- A master’s degree in engineering or a related field, e.g. electrical engineering, energy engineering, civil engineering or similar. An electrical engineering qualification is considered an advantage.
- At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in project development and implementation of PV and/or BESS projects
- Experience in consultancy within the renewable energy sector is an advantage
- Experience in PVsyst and performing energy production evaluations and PV plant optimization tool (e.g. softwares PVcase, PVdesign) is an advantage
- Willingness to learn new tools under company guidance and develop engineering and management skills
- You have an existing network of potential local clients and partners
- Fluency in Spanish and English is required, good communication skills for working with international colleagues and external stakeholders
- Open minded approach to project partners from different cultural backgrounds
- Willingness to travel for project based work as required
