Are you a recent graduate eager to start your career in climate and energy policy within a European policy environment? We are offering a paid traineeship based in Brussels, providing hands-on experience in a dynamic, international, and multidisciplinary organisation.
About Fertilizers Europe
Fertilizers Europe represents the interests of the European fertilizer industry and acts as the sector’s voice at EU level. We are a key source of information on fertilizers and related policies, covering topics such as climate policy, energy policy, agriculture, environment, technology, and safety. We also support our members through data, statistics, and sectoral analysis.
- Contract type: Paid traineeship under a Belgian Convention d’Immersion Professionnelle
- Location: Brussels, Belgium
- Working time: Full-time
- Duration: 6 months to 1 year
- Starting date: 1 February 2026
What You’ll Gain

What You’ll Do
- Support the drafting of policy papers, briefings, and analyses on climate, energy and agricultural legislation
- Follow EU policy developments and help translate them into clear updates for members
- Interact with member companies and European stakeholders
- Take part in committees, working groups, and ongoing projects
What You Bring
- A degree in environmental science, environmental engineering, sustainability, or a related field
- An interest in (and basic understanding of) energy-intensive industries
- Familiarity with EU institutions and policy-making processes
- Solid Microsoft Office skills
- Very good written and spoken English; additional European languages are an asset
- Knowledge of agricultural emissions is a plus
