Program Representative (1099) - Part-Time | Evenings & Weekends
Job Description
Family First Energy is a local contractor that helps communities save on their electric and gas bills through partnerships with local utility companies. We implement low-income energy efficiency programs that help qualified households reduce monthly bills at no cost.
⚠️ This is NOT solar sales.
IMPORTANT: This Is NOT Cold Calling
A major part of this role is revisiting customers who have already participated in our weatherization program in the past.
These customers:
- Have already worked with us
- Are eligible again for additional program benefits
- Just need to be contacted and informed
All customer contact information is provided by our company, so you are not starting from scratch. This is warm outreach, not random cold calling.
Our most successful reps focus on calling these past customers and following up in the evenings and weekends, when people are most available.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Calling and contacting previous program participants to let them know they qualify again
- Explaining updated energy savings benefits they are eligible for
- Door knocking and in-person outreach when desired (not required for success)
- Generating enrollments using company-provided contact lists
- Educating homeowners and small businesses on how the program works
Schedule & Flexibility
- 1099 independent contractor
- Part-time, flexible schedule
- No assigned hours or shifts
- Evenings and weekends are the most successful times to work
- You choose when and how much you work
Pay & Earnings
- Commission-based compensation
- No cap on earnings
- Strong performers can earn several hundred dollars per day depending on effort
- Earnings vary and are not guaranteed
