Position Summary
We’re looking for a motivated Maintenance Technician / Handyman Helper to join our field operations team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with their hands, learning new skills, and taking pride in a job well done. You’ll assist our technicians with repairs, installations, and maintenance for home energy improvement projects, including weatherization, HVAC, and plumbing work.
If you have experience with tools, basic repairs, or general handyman work — even in a personal or informal setting — we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
Assist technicians with home repairs, installations, and energy-saving upgrades.
Perform light handyman and maintenance tasks, such as caulking, sealing, minor patchwork, and basic fixture replacements.
Help organize and transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites.
Keep job sites clean, safe, and professional at all times.
Support project setup, cleanup, and customer satisfaction efforts.
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors throughout each project.
Follow all safety procedures and company standards while working in occupied homes.
Report any issues, material needs, or hazards promptly.
Qualifications
Prior experience with handyman, construction, or maintenance work is a plus.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow directions with minimal supervision.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in various residential environments.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
