We look for a geologist who will work closely together with Michael (our CTO) and the full project development team. Your mission is to take over responsibility for identifying and investigating suitable geological structures to

Your main tasks:

  • Source and screen geological structures globally to evaluate reservoir quality, structural integrity, sealing systems, and overall suitability for CO2-geothermal development.
  • Integrate and interpret geophysical, geological, and petrophysical dataset (seismic, well logs, core data, ) to develop coherent subsurface interpretations.
  • Develop conceptual and static geological models, including stratigraphy, facies, flow units, volumetrics, uncertainties, and risk assessments to support reservoir performance assessments and simulations.
  • Provides essential geological support to well design to optimize well placement and drilling performance.
  • Deliver decision-ready recommendations that summarize resource potential, key risks and data gaps, and outline development potential.


What you bring:

  • Master’s degree or Diplom in Geosciences, Geology, Geophysics, or a related subsurface discipline.
  • 5-10+ years of experience in exploration, reservoir geology, CCS site evaluation, or geothermal/hydrocarbon field development.
  • Strong background in seismic and well-log interpretation, petrophysics, geochemisty, and structural geology, for integrated reservoir evaluation.
  • Demonstrated ability to build static geological models in industry-standard software such as Petrel, tNavigator or equivalent.
  • Experience in prospect generation, with volumetrics, and technical risk assessment (e.g., probabilistic methods using Geox, Petrel, or Python-based Monte Carlo).
  • Ability to structure and drive projects independently while ensuring timely delivery.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
