The opportunity

Our Assurance group is one of the most trusted, respected and influential organizations in the industry. As part of our teams, you will provide peace of mind to clients by using your skills and experience to give companies, investors and regulators confidence in the validity of financial statements and business-critical information or processes. Groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines) within Assurance include External Audit, Climate Change and Sustainability Services, Financial Accounting Advisory Services, Forensic & Integrity Services and Cost Engineering Services.

Your key responsibilities

We are seeking a dynamic individual to support our clients across various industries, including TMT, retail, consumer products, property development, education, health sciences, oil and gas, and more. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Collaborate with industry leaders to compile impactful ESG reports and provide strategic management improvement advice aligned with capital market expectations.
• Assist clients in formulating robust ESG strategies, setting ambitious carbon targets, and developing actionable plans to achieve them.
• Offer expert services in ESG risk management for clients facing significant ESG challenges, including supply chain and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) management.
• Guide engagement teams in tailoring services based on a deep understanding of client operations and their unique needs.
• Gain insights into various industries to identify key performance drivers and address critical issues affecting our clients.
• Identify and present new opportunities to enhance our services, while actively seeking innovative ideas to elevate EY's offerings.

What we look for

• Bachelor’s degree with over 4 years of experience in consultancy and commercial sectors.
• Proven expertise in ESG, CSR, sustainability, or related fields such as carbon management, EHS, or renewable energy.
• Familiarity with consulting methodologies and industry requirements.
• Understanding of business operations and workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with both management and clients.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
