Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid or remote role based in Columbus, OH, for a Wholesale Solar Business Development Specialist. The primary responsibilities include identifying and generating new business leads, conducting market research, fostering client relationships, and optimizing sales opportunities. The role requires consistent communication with potential customers, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the growth of Exel Solar's market presence.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of the solar energy industry
- Strong inverter, battery and PV knowledge
- Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating market trends and business opportunities
- Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to establish and maintain client relationships
- Experience in Lead Generation and Market Research to identify new opportunities and expand customer networks
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members in a fast-paced business environment
- Extensive contacts in the solar industry
