The Opportunity
As Partner, you will take a central role in shaping the firm’s investment strategy, originating high-conviction opportunities, and leading transactions across early-stage European climate-tech companies. You will work closely with founders, scientists, and industry operators to support breakthrough technologies and business models capable of driving systemic environmental change.
The position offers significant influence within a highly collaborative, high-performance culture where investment decisions are guided by both market potential and scientific validation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sourcing, evaluation, and execution of early-stage climate-tech investments
- Oversee full investment processes, including commercial, scientific, financial, and operational due diligence
- Drive deal structuring, valuation work, and negotiation of key terms
- Represent the firm in the market and develop strong founder, investor, and scientific network relationships
- Partner closely with portfolio company leaders to support scaling, strategy, and impact measurement
- Shape the firm’s long-term investment roadmap and contribute to thought leadership within climate and sustainability sectors
- Mentor and develop junior investment professionals across the team
- Present high-quality materials and recommendations to the Investment Committee
What We’re Looking For
- 10–15+ years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, climate-tech investing, or a combination of investing + entrepreneurial/operator background
- Demonstrated track record leading early-stage transactions, ideally within climate, sustainability, deeptech, or industrial innovation
- Strong network across climate-tech founders, research institutions, corporates, and co-investors
- Ability to assess both commercial potential and scientific/technical feasibility
- Excellent leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field
